Our Team
The Pohlen Hospital team is friendly and professional, and will take the time to understand you and your personal needs.
The team consists of a General Manager, Clinical Manager, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Hospital Aides, Kitchen Staff, Midwives, Maternity Aides, a Diversional Therapist, Reception, Maintenance and Laundry staff who will all take care of your needs during your stay at Pohlen Hospital.
We are here to help as soon as you walk in the door.
We are a nurse-led hospital, with our nursing model based on having two trained staff on for each morning and afternoon shift.
We support our Hospital Aides to have a Level 2 qualification in Health and Wellness and we often have student nurses from Wintec and Bay of Plenty Technical Institute.
