Palliative Care by Referral

Palliative care is provided during the final weeks of life. The emphasis in nursing for palliative care is on the dignity and comfort of the client and the overall care of their families and loved ones.

Clients and their families are provided with individual, well-equipped, spacious rooms. There are excellent facilities which include foldaway wall-beds for the use of family or friends, kitchenette and family/TV room all aimed at making the stay as comfortable as possible during this significant time.

Referral for this service requires assessment and approval by DSL needs assessors.
